Harrison House sleeps 6, a 1950s farmhouse remodeled with a modern interior, 150 yards from the venue. Hilltop Manor sleeps 8–10 and is opening soon, with reservations available now for stays after opening. Together, the two houses sleep up to 16 on the property.

The land that holds all of it.

The setting is Papa's Creek itself: a working cattle farm, a stone-bottom creek, double terraces, an observation deck, and a room built from materials that came from real places. It is a foundation with a history. It was here before the venue, and it will be here long after.

175 seated indoors. 250+ across the terraces. Room to grow when you use both.

The main room seats 175. The double terraces extend the celebration to 250+ outdoors, with indoor and outdoor spaces working together for larger gatherings.

Outdoor events above the recommended indoor capacity require a specific weather plan; a 250-person terrace setup cannot move indoors unchanged. Marie will help you think through the right layout during your tour. Read the capacity details.

A working farm. Not a farm aesthetic.

The cattle still run here. The creek still runs cold in July. The barbed-wire chandelier was made from fence wire on this farm. The walls are quarter-sawn oak, sawed by Marie's brother on a 100-year-old mill saw. The front wall covering is teak conveyor belts from an old cotton plant. The observation deck was pulled from a store in Bowman, Georgia. Nothing here was sourced. It was gathered.

The practical pieces are already in place.

WiFi on-site. Indoor and outdoor sound. 72" presentation screen. Bridal suite – separate building with AC, lighted mirror, lounge space, deck. Climate-controlled interior. On-site parking. Industrial ice machine, double oven, 18' stainless serving table, refrigerator, farm sink. 4 minutes from I-85 exit 173. Alcohol allowed, not provided – licensed bartender and event insurance required.

Named for him. Built for all of you.

Papa's Creek is named for Kenneth Hendrix – Marie's husband, who passed in 2017. Before a single board was cut, this project was dedicated to him. He used to bring their grandchildren to the stone-bottom creek on the back of this property. A picnic. Cold water. Nowhere to be. The Shed was built in his honor. The name was the first thing we knew.

The Shed is not an empty room waiting to be made interesting. Its timber, chandelier, terraces, arches, and farm history already give the setting an identity. Marie helps carry that character into your story through the table and seating layout, linens, tablescapes, ceremony details, and accents without asking you to spend your wedding week rebuilding the room.

Marie works with the architecture and character already present, then shapes the table and seating layout, tablescape direction, ceremony styling, and movement between spaces. The room becomes distinctly yours without losing the qualities that made you choose The Shed.

Tablecloth and runner treatments, centerpieces, arches, easels, and styling accents all have a job to do. Your proposal identifies what The Shed will design, what it will supply and pre-set, and what will come from your florist, rental company, or other outside vendor.

Prepared before. Restored afterward.

The Shed helps your vendors understand the property and pre-sets the Shed pieces in your scope. During the event, your planner, caterer, and service team handle live operations. After the event, The Shed launders its linens, removes event trash, and restores the venue spaces included in your proposal.
