Before You Begin

A sketch for conversation, not a final floor plan.

This tool uses the approximate 40 by 60 foot indoor room and 40 by 12 foot covered porch outlines. It does not check capacity, exits, aisle clearances, accessibility, vendor requirements, power, or weather contingencies. The Shed must confirm every final layout before setup.

Step 1

Add pieces

Select a piece to place it in the room or on the porch. Add as many as you need.

Guest seating

Table seating Five-foot rounds are most comfortable with 6–8 guests. Up to 10 can fit, but the table will feel snugger and needs a little more space around it. Most provided chairs are ladderback style.

Decor and feature pieces

Three casks available Any combination of decor barrels and barrel cake tables may be used, up to three total. Two often frame the porch doors; all three can be moved wherever the event calls for them.

Step 2

Adjust selection

Select a piece in the room to adjust it.

To copy a row with its spacing intact, hold Shift while selecting pieces or turn on Select Multiple. Turn it off before dragging the group.

Keyboard: arrow keys move a selected piece, Shift plus an arrow moves farther, R turns it right, Shift plus R turns it left, and Delete removes it.

Scale: one grid square represents approximately 5 feet.

Windows: each blue wall mark represents a 2-foot window and helps show natural-light and sightline opportunities.

Porch: the left entrance comes from main parking; the right continues toward the Bridal Suite and memorial garden.

Fixed references: doors, exits, walls, rails, stairs, and the chandelier stay in place. Confirm exact clearances with The Shed.

Privacy: your sketch stays in this browser. It is not sent to The Shed.

Outdoor Layout Planner

Sketch the terraces.

Move five-foot round tables, eight-foot benches, and individual outdoor chairs across the working terrace plan. This remains an early conversation sketch; The Shed must confirm the final layout, access routes, clearances, and weather plan.

Step 1

Add outdoor pieces

Select a piece to place it on the plan. Drag it into position and turn it as needed.

Tables and seating

18 eight-foot benches available Benches may be arranged individually or selected together to duplicate a complete row while preserving its spacing.

Build rows first, then refine Use five-chair blocks on either side of an aisle, ten-chair blocks for continuous rows, and individual chairs for corrections. Confirm the final quantity, style, aisles, and spacing with The Shed.

Ceremony focal points

Placement markers, not measured inventory Use these to explore orientation and sightlines. Confirm the actual piece, dimensions, anchoring, weather limits, and vendor requirements before finalizing the plan.

Inventory: up to 18 eight-foot benches may be placed. Table and chair counts are not inventory guarantees.

Final review: The Shed must confirm capacity, aisles, exits, accessibility, vendor access, and the rain plan.

Hold Shift while selecting pieces, or turn on Select Multiple, to build and duplicate complete rows with their spacing intact. Turn Select Multiple off before dragging a piece or group.
